I support my team by managing general admin tasks that include monitoring ingoing/outgoing emails, drafting emails, regular updating our webpages and updating databases.
I have learnt many skills during my time as an apprentice, including juggling multiple projects at and being able to track individual progress for each one.
Really can't praise it more, love being an apprentice.
Really well done, I like the layout of the work that needs to be done but also the flexibility in how/when it can be done.
I know I can approach my employer at any time if I need support and I know it will be a priority on their list to support me with whatever work needs to be done.
We have regular contact, my tutor sets me a handful of pieces of work to complete between our next tutor session but she is quick at responding with any questions or enquires I may have with my set work.
Gives a greater depth and background understanding on the work I contribute and produce within my team.
We have regular apprentice network training sessions where you can meet with other apprentices and learn new skills together.

Was the best decision I made applying for this apprenticeship within Devon County Council, it has grown my confidence and I have learnt so many new things that I can apply in my future career development.
Sign up for any training, network, engagement session you can as you can learn so much with each session you attend, learn more about the council and meet new people; even if the session may not relate to your role.
