I communicate and collaborate with my team to create mostly web applications and make automated tests to make sure that they are maintainable using the .NET framework as well as assisting project managers with their needs and adapting to learn other frameworks and software to potentially assist with new projects.
I have developed CSS, HTML and JavaScript . I have learned C#, Razor, .NET Framework. Apart from the technical skills i have learned and developed, I have also improved my social and communication skills as I am communicating with many people in different ways such as in person and through email.
I enjoy this program to a very high extent as it has given me many opportunities to gain skills and travel to meet new people within the company. Completing this programme will also enable me to be able to pursue higher education and job opportunities if i manage to pass.
The PETA section of the programme is broken up into multiple single learning days and week long courses with optional exams at the end to get additional certifications. The order of these is seemingly random as the C# course was our final one but was meant to be first apparently.
I receive quite a bit of support from my managers. Any troubles and queries I have almost get addressed immediately or if not as soon as possible. Not only does my team manager extremely helpful but my line manager also. There is plenty of ways of contacting them as well.
To be brutally honest, they provide next to none. Each mentor says and expects completely different things for the same thing and some even change what they want each day or even on the same day without warning. When you ask for examples for what you need to do they either don't give you one or give you one that isn't even from the course you are on.
The learner days are good to get a basic understanding on topics that they teach such as C#, SCRUM and Unified Modelling Language. As mentioned in a previous question they also have the option for you to have extra courses and exams to give you extra qualifications as well as the one you are currently doing.
Lockheed Martin does indeed support extra-curricular volunteer work and networking events such as Code Quest and the Royal Air Tattoo. There are other extra curricular activities that people who work here host but they are not officially supported my Lockheed. They also participate global celebration events such as pride parades.

Great office atmosphere and lots of free coffee any software developer needs to function. Lots of help and a great apprentice culture with other team members as well as the company as a whole. It is also a very reputable company with lots of job security which is valuable in the 21st century .
Try and at least have a small amount of experience for the role you are trying to apply for as that is better than nothing and makes you look more attractive as a candidate. Try and stand out during the group interview (but obviously not in a negative way) and make sure you dress and speak appropriately.
