I am completing Quantity surveying-related tasks while updating and completing off-the-job training to enhance career development.
I have developed new skills, such as the use of new professional software such as Cost X whilst improving my Microsoft office skills. I have also improved my social skills and know how to deal with new people and situations.
I enjoy my program and believe that the work-uni balance is good.
Both Mace and Salford have good structuring in place to complete the apprenticeship.
My employer is supportive and would give allowances for problems.
The sessions have time to ask questions but there is also a lot of resources online that are easily accessible.
So far there have been some relevant learning that will help me perform better in my role.
There are often socials and professional networking events.

It is a big company that allows for the movement of roles, it also has a strong structure and network in place to support apprentices.
