To lead and manage a team to co-align with company KPIs, ensuring the department is efficient in delivery. My role also incudes continuous improvement to the department. This includes improvement to the working environment, creating a safe environment whilst striving towards leaner manufacturing.
Continuous learning on management styles, tools and techniques with direct access to trial them through out the department, not only helps for my own development, but for others to develop as well. Project management, was a key area of interest for myself. Applying the tools and techniques I have developed throughout the course has really allowed my ongoing projects to excel.
Very! The programme offers a vast range of knowledge and skills I can utilize within my current role to develop myself and others.
The programme has a great structure with clear dead-lines for work to be submitted. The online portal, OneFile, allows me write experiences with time stamps easily and makes it easy to submit work.
My employer provides me with all the exposure I require to attain the experience I need to build my portfolio. They also provide me with the time I need to write my assessment.
All the support I require is provided through regular meetings with open discussions talking about the work required from myself and up coming work. My tutor is very helpful, providing clear instruction to what is provided and expected.
The programme directly links to my role, allowing me to apply the knowledge, skills and techniques learnt through the course, throughout the business not just on a local level, but organizational level as well.
Yes, siemens hold a family day inviting all to come and showcase what we do, as well as a day to enjoy time friends and collogues out of working hours.
