I work Monday to Thursday and have Fridays off for studying. I work collaboratively with wider teams within my organisation as well as other businesses and agencies. I am trusted to run multiple social media brand accounts and lead social media campaigns.
I love that much of what I learn on my study days, I can apply straight away to my role. Every day I continue to expand my business knowledge as well as developing relationships with my colleagues and often leading projects.
I am so glad that I chose to kick-start my career with this apprenticeship rather than having gone to university. I think this scheme is amazing!
The scheme has a very clear structure and is very well organised. There are dedicated teams to make sure our experience runs smoothly.
Nestle has lots of apprentices and they constantly check-in to make sure they are supporting us and providing us with everything we need.
I see my training provider weekly and they are always on hand if I need them at any other point in the week.
I think that my qualification goes hand in hand with my role as I can always use my own job as a case study for the theories and concepts that we learn about.
Myself and lots of the other apprentices meet up regularly for socialising and exercising. I am also invited to many networking and social events with my team.
Yes
The business really cares about its employees and they are very focused on personal development and career progression. There are also many support networks which are open to everybody.
Be yourself and don't try to fit a mould!
