ensuring the manufacturing area is food safe and clean, as well as everything being of good quality, overseeing work being done as well as completing activities such as releasing stock, verifying metal detectors, incident management etc.
I have developed my communication skills greatly as i am always needing to speak with others in the role i have, i also have developed my confidence when it comes to talking to large groups and making decisions.
I really enjoy my apprenticeship, it is very hands on and no day is the same. I feel trusted to make decisions. My uni work also helps me with my knowledge.
It is organised, i am able to contact my tutors when necessary.
I receive as much support as i require, everyone is happy to help.
I get monthly meetings to talk to my tutor.
All course information is relevant to my role and allows me to gain more knowledge for when i am back in the workplace as it is also relevant to my factory.
There are social activities such as charity football, volunteering days, and networking events for example on resilience that are organised regularly.
