    8/10

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • Yes, I am constantly learning new things and learning is strongly encouraged at IBM, not just for apprentices.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I am generally enjoying the programme at the moment but the university side often feels irrelevant to the actual job role and is too slow.

    6/10

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • It is well structured and organised but the system used to track off the job time for university makes it extremely difficult to keep track of KSBs

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • My employer is very supportive if I ever have any issues

    9/10

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • There is lots of support to help with how to meet/document KSBs etc, and I have a skills coach with regular review meetings with them and my manager

    7/10

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • The course content currently does not feel at all relevant to my job role, currently I haven’t really learnt anything new/that I have applied in my role yet.

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • Yes, we have social events regularly at the office.

    9/10

  • 9a. Would you recommend IBM to a friend?
  • Yes

  • 9b. Why?
  • IBM has a really supportive atmosphere and small community feel despite being such a big company; everyone I have ever met, no matter how senior, is happy to chat with you and wants you to succeed

  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to IBM?
  • Be yourself! IBM isn’t specifically looking for experience with this apprenticeship, but more your attitude and willingness to learn, grow, and become part of the IBM culture/community
