I am still discovering new roles in my job but what i have been doing is running simulations and gathering data on the wastewater network. i have also been putting together a flow survey which means i have to look along the system and ask the OPS team to install flow monitors so we can work out how much flow is currently being put through the pipes.
developing my excel skills, they have grown alot since i first joined. being able to use new software like ICM
i have been really enjoying the program because im constantly learning new things and applying it to my job role, support is great even if i dont understand at first
clear structure of what is expected to happen in the future, with me going through university at the minute i will be passing that but at the end i am working towards my EPA
constant support when asked for. if there has been a new task set and i am unsure how to progress i can always ask and there's someone to help. there's support when it comes to the apprenticeship scheme as well so if i am feeling overwhelmed or just need support i can always go and seek help.
we have meetings setup to see how far i am going and if i need any support. training provider offers support to those who need it, i havent asked as of yet but i know who to go to if needs be
i am still confused how my education with my training provider helps me to preform better in my role as they dont necessarily correlate with each other i am still yet to find a cross over from my training provider and job
they do offer extra-curricular activates i have just not opted in for any yet
Yes
because they are easy to work for as everyone gives loads of support. the pay is good for someone who is my age as well and they have loads of roles suited to everyone
be patient, make sure you present yourself like you are hiring yourself. focus what you can do because the things you cant you would be trained on in the future.
