My overall role is to supervise the Customer Team Members as well as making sure the shop is stocked, doing morning/night time routines, making sure customers are satisfied and keeping an eye on the shop.
I have learnt a lot of skills such as growing my confidence as well as learning a lot of new aspects of the job such as banking, leakage, diversity and health and safety. I have also grown my time management skills and learning how to manage people.
I did enjoy my program as my Tutor was lovely and very helpful when I needed support. She made everything clear on what I needed to do and the workload was manageable even though it was self paced/taught. It was a great learning experience.
It is very good with a new topic/subject each month if possible when we had Tutor meetings which was covered a few months before I was due to do my assessment. Which then I was able to plan and focus my attention on that.
I did receive a good amount of support when needed from my manager.
I received a lot of support from my Tutor when I needed help as well as monthly meetings in which we would cover everything I had been working on. She was also great at answering any emails when I needed.
I learnt a lot of new information and useful skills during the time on my apprenticeship that has helped a lot with my development in my job.
