I work on projects given to me by stakholders which will help them to get insight on processes completed in Buisness As Usual. My work could be in many different areas of the business.
Data analytics is a completely new topic to me so I have learnt about Python, SQL, R, the data analyics lifecycle, all policies and procedures involved, how to assess user experience and impact, statistical anaylsis, etc.
I enjoy my job very much. I didn't expect what role I was getting into as it seemed different on my application but I am very much enjoying it.
Since starting I have swapped providers because my peers and I were having some issues with the teaching. Since swapping the programme has been very well structured with clear deadlines for modules and I can see what content I am going to be learning next.
I receive lots of support from my employer which includes having regular progress meeting, health support and mental health support.
The training provider is very well put together. I have learning modules which I will have to read and complete. Then I wil have a live event where a trainer will teach a group of us all of the content and get us to apply it to a project scenario. Then I will have to get a work project and apply the learning.
All of the topics from the provider build our portfolio for the EPA. It will help to build knowledge on each area to make me a stronger data analyst.
I have been to multiple conventions and events with work that will help me to build conections, boost my mental health and help me to build knowledge in the field.
Yes
There are a number of roles to get involved with in the business. The knowledge and people to meet is amazing. Not to mention the large amount of company benefits to use.
Be yourself.
