I assist the underwriters with their work by helping with pricing tools and logging new business quotes on the systems. I also shadow in broker meetings and general day to day work of the underwriters
During my apprenticeship I have learnt alot about how the insurance industry works and how to interact with professionals within the environment
I have learnt alot whilst going through this programme and have enjoyed expanding my knowledge.
The structure of the course is very clearly set out with set dates to complete tasks and exams and it is easy to follow.
I receive consistent support and have regular 1-1's with my manager and also regular meetings with my apprenticeship coach.
The training provider provides me with plenty of calls and workshops to help with my exams.
By completing exams I have learnt a lot about general insurance matters which helps me in my day to day role.
