My role was in software distribution, this was a role that I felt I was very suited to as I had previous knowledge on the subject. On a day to day basis my tasks would differ depending on what kind of work was coming in.
I have learnt a lot of new skills and also developed existing skills that I had, not only skills that are in relation to my job but also skills such as communication and team work.
I very much enjoyed my programme and feel that through this apprenticeship I have got myself onto the career path that I have planned for.
I felt very valued by the company and my team. Everyone was very friendly and I felt a valued part of my team.
The scheme was very well organised and from the beginning felt that my learning and development was being monitored which helped me to improve.
My training providers were often difficult to contact at the start of my apprenticeship but these issues were quickly resolved
My employers were very supportive and made my time at IBM a very enjoyable one.
My scary met my needs very well, I had money left over each month that I was able to put into a savings account.
There were opportunities outside of work such as getting involved in local council initiatives and apprentice meetings.
