  • My role involves the management of complex healthcare projects on a live hospital site. This involves, chairing project meetings, visiting sites, reporting to client, engaging stakeholders, managing design phases and construction phases. Currently working on civils projects, infrastructure upgrades, ward refurbs, asbestos removal

  • Greatly improved communications skills, client management, general construction knowledge, regulation knowledge, report writing,

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • The programme is engaging and the modules on the whole are interesting, the internal Mace sessions are sometimes disappointing and don't always feel like an effective use of time, when i have busy projects on site .

  • University programme is well structured, easy to navigate and engaging. Mace could be more tansparent on certain topics i.e. salary and career development.

  • High level of support by immediate work colleagues and line manager, engagement from emerging talent team is limited.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • UCEM offer a good level of support through, 1-2-1, eail coresspongdance and support tutors

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • The knowledge that i have developed through attainment of qualification has been beneficial to my day to day job. I.E. construction and commercial knowledge, Buidling regs and H&S

  • Many external opportuinities, NFL( North future leaders), regular socials with project team. Currently no spotrts teams in the North

  • Yes

  • To date they have been a good employer who i have no complaints aout. They seem to value employees and company goals align well to current world events.
