  • A good amount of responsibility is given as well as the training and aid so it isnt ever overwhelming

  • A good amount of training is offered with notification given far in advance to plan your day to day works around

  • The on site team I work with offer plenty of support when stuck as well as the company offering multiple means of support in your role

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • My training provider where good at repying to you about problems with the university however when it came to problems with the course it depended strongly on the module with some lectures not being able to help as they where covering a topic they apparently wernt completly familiar with.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • The quaification aids in the more nieche bits of information that you dont talk about on site, however when it came to my role and gaining knowledge being on site allowed me to understand prinicples in a way not possible in the lecture hall

  • Occastion social activities are available with work within the team I work with and sometime with the other apprentices in the cohort

  • Yes

  • A good platform is offered to learn and thrive to be able to work anywhere in construction


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Mace?
  • If you are a Constrctuion manager like myself, start by following around a senior manager who is happy to answer questions and be conferdent enough to be heard.
