The scheme is broken down into 6x 6 month rotations for the first 3 years and then a final year long placement in your 4th year. Apprentices usually rotate through roles such as operations management, material planning, quality, sourcing and planning.
A wide range of both hard and soft skills. You are given real responsibility in roles and have to be able to manage both expectations and workload. You're given exposure to all levels of the business and will develop both communication and public speaking skills.
Apprentices are given meaningful projects and responsibility. The apprenticeship also has a strong support community around it. There is a good mix of work and personal development on scheme.
The rotational structure is well developed and as the scheme has been running for so many years it runs smoothly. There are still opportunities for both apprentices and managers to further develop the scheme.
With a mix of mentors, line managers, lecturers, an apprentice manager and the wider apprentice community the scheme is well supported.
Lecturers from Coventry Uni are great at supporting both academically and personally. They will always offer advice and the university side of the scheme is well ran.
By completing a management and leadership degree we learn real models and information that can be directly applied to our roles across the scheme
We have a range of sports teams, social events and professional development opportunities.
