On a day to day basis I manage the full process of sales from pre sales to post sales through quoting the customer and ordering their technology
I have learnt a variety of skills such as technical, Microsoft office, organisation as well as developing my communication and confidence skills.
I am really enjoying it :)
Very organised, initially we have a 6 week period of training involving customer service, people skills, presentation skills and technical skills as well as professionalism and then move into role for the remainder.
Lots of support and we actually have a dedicated team leader who is just for the apprentices and provides help and support whenever needed.
We have monthly calls with our assigned training provider as well as always being on the end of a message to answer whenever needed.
I don't feel as though there is a direct correlation between the course and the role as the course looks at more admin based things and the role is more sales related.
There are loads of opportunities to get involved with networking events with suppliers and customers as well as lots of team socials throughout the year.
