I am responsible for raising customer orders, completing reports and dealing with any customer queries on a day to day basis.
I have improved on my email correspondence since working here. I have attended courses such as the customer excellence training where this has helped me to communicate better via emails and identify people's personality types from their responses.
The apprenticeship programme was very enjoyable as I have been able to adapt new skills, meet new people and build my profile. There are so many incentives to this place that make you want to succeed.
i had a tricky start at the start of my apprenticeship as the line manager I had was new to the business and there was not much structure. Since the new team leader came in there was a lot of structure to the programme as she knew the role and was a great people manager.
I have weekly one to ones with my current employer where I feel comfortable to express my thoughts and feelings and we can discuss my progress without any issues.
We had calls every now and then but I feel like more regular calls would help to progress my development.
My qualification has helped me to understand the companies winning together values and expectations which I apply into my current role.
There is football every Wednesday with employees from different departments to have a nice kick about after work, There are also social events to get involved in where you can build relationships with colleagues and suppliers.
