The role that I have been given involves managing people and their finances and helping others become wiser with their money. On a day to day basis I attend daily meetings with my line manager to make sure that the process is simple to understand for clients.
During my placement, I have developed my problem solving skills to an extent while learning new skills such as co-operation and becoming more open minded to new ideas.
I have enjoyed the programme to a great extent so far, I feel like it is a fresh change from going to school and it helps me develop skills and acquire knowledge that can be used in the real world.
I believe that the programme was very well structured and the allocation of time to each activity was well divided so nothing was around for too long or was not there for enough time.
I have received a good amount of support from my employers. They always check in on me (and the cohort by extension) and always ask for our feedback to provide the best experience
I feel like I am receiving a good amount of support for my current qualification as my placement directly relates to Business Management, when put on top of what we learn in school it should be enough to secure my desired grade.
I feel like it helped pretty well as I tend to learn better through doing rather than seeing.
There was a Tech Expo held at Custom House.
