I am a fraud advisor which entails a daily worklist of policies to validate by investigating, cancelling or contacting customers and third parties, I investigate operations and do admin such as calls and emails.
I have only done one module so far so I cannot say, I have got a broader knowledge of fraud models and types and look at scenarios at work differently but I am very new to the course.
So far I enjoy it very much my trainer is amazing she is very supportive and has been replying to my queries promptly and helped me with my first module massively.
So far it has been, the OTJs were a little grey at first as Im not sure my company realised it was in work hours so I struggled to get time off allocated in the first month, hopefully that will change going forward but the OFF the job was a little confusing to them as its On the job really.
As I said apart from the OTJ situation my employer has been very supportive I was added to a really useful meeting between insurers to shadow my manager, it is very early days but im sure they will support me all the way.
So far one month in I have received an incredible amount of support from my tutor, she has been there to answer all of my questions and emails back promptly I received lovely feedback on my first module and feel very supported.
So far I am yet to see any change as it has bene one month but I'm sure in time it will help hugely.
