I currently work as an assistant QS and manage costs and value on several jobs.
I am learning a few topics and being able to use them in the class and the workspace
I do enjoy it but I don’t enjoy the amount of travel involved but it’s what I signed up tor
Yes I would say so only thing they could be improved would be having a stable timetable but I am aware that this is hard as we are block release
Almost none I receive more from the college than they do
Could not ask for more
With the regular meetings we have and the real life examples given I feel it massively improves my role
Not really just the occasional work drink but it’s hard as I work over 80miles away from my home
Yes
I have suggested this apprenticeship to my family because I feel it is a great opportunity for someone to get started in the industry
Make sure that you go to Leeds for uni and college they couldn’t be more supportive
