My role involves managing the property management system (CAFM), this includes updating CAD Plans, updating occupancy information, supplying lease information and providing reports across our Estate.
I have learnt a lot of new skills since starting this course. I have attending property management courses and learnt about the legal side of my job role. I have also learn a lot through this programme as before undertaking this course I had no experience with staff performance management and I have now dealt with this. I have also been exposed to a lot more financial information due to this course and undertaking the financial module.
I have found this course very worthwhile and I have really enjoyed the learning. The only problem is that I had such a large break between switching providers which didn't help with revising etc. Although this was no fault of paragon, it was due to Qube going into administration.
I believe it is structured very well however due to the gap in the middle, it then felt very hard to get direction again after a 1 year break and with a new provider.
I am very supported by Oxleas NHS. They are very willing to allow me study days and are very happy to support my development within this programme.
I am able to email or call my tutor at any time and I always get a swift response.
A lot better. It has given me the knowledge across all areas of management and how a well performing team functions.

I really enjoy working for the NHS. I feel I can give back to the community and make healthcare better for all. I also feel like Oxleas NHS is very flexible and person-centred. Everyone is friendly and I enjoy working here.
Always be open to new opportunities and learning new skills. You never know where they can take you!
