I handle all digital aspects of the marketing for Liverpool Cathedrals. Such as the Website, Social Media platforms, external emails, digital ads etc.
Yes, when i started my apprenticeship i had very limited digital marketing experience
I enjoy the programme alot, I've had lots of great experiences and opportunities
My programme feels well-organised and structured
I receive good support from my employer with my work and with time needed for university work
We have skills sessions to help with the practical side of the apprenticeship and the lectures and units in general for the course are great at supporting getting my qualification
My qualification definitely helps to support my role, I learn up to date best practice to get the best out of my marketing efforts
There are however they are hard for apprentices who don't live near campus to get involved with. Activities that take place with a fit schedule a bit more sporadically would work better for apprentices to keep up with.
Yes
I feel supported and a part of a community in my role there. The workplace culture isn't too corporate or tightly wound, there is room for fun and friendliness which makes going to work enjoyable.
I would advise you to be open to a diverse range of people and experiences and becoming apart of a community.
