I am on placement in a Medical Device company. I assist with activating marketing assets for the UK and Ireland, I creative marketing strategies and activate campaigns to drive sales, leads and queries. I monitor KPI’s and work closely with the sales team to drive growth products.
I have learnt time management, communication skills and delegation skills. Both my work place and college course have assisted me with developing my presentation and public speaking skills which has given me a lot of confidence in these areas.
I enjoy the course work and tasks set out by the college and the way they closely align with my job role. I find the role and the course challenging in a positive way and it allows me to reflect on ways to improve and innovate
My programme is structured in that I have set days and office hours, I have a set study day which I complete every week to ensure I am completing my studies. I have check ins regularly with my college, my employer and my placement company.
My employer is very supportive. If I have any queries they respond promptly and assist me with an issues. They regularly check in to make sure I am doing okay and I do not have any issues.
My training providing is very supportive and ensures I am comfortable with the content I am learning. They are very encouraging and check in regularly to ensure I am doing well
My qualification allows me to perform better in my role as everything I cover in the course are things I experience and work on everyday in the workplace. The theories taught are things that are useful in the workplace and it allows me to reflect on why things are done a certain way.
