My role is to help the children how ever they need. This starts by me welcoming them in each morning helping them to settle in. Then I help with any work they need to complete and helping them to understand new things. Them I help them get ready for home and see them off.
Yes I have learnt different way to deal with children, like how to talk to them when they are dealing with difficult emotions and that just because one way works with one child a completely different approach will work better for a different child.
I enjoy my program very much. I truly enjoy working with children and leaning new things about them and what they need.
