I work alongside teachers and ensure the smooth learning of children, I provide support to SEND children and lead small group teaching sessions as well. Working with teachers I make sure that if children are struggling on certain areas we provide the necessary extra support they require.
Something I have developed at the apprenticeship is my confidence and communication skills, I have been able to go out of my comfort zone and enjoyed working alongside experienced staff. I believe these skills will help me a lot in the future as well.
I have been enjoying my programme a lot as everybody at inspire ATA and at the placement is very supportive and has given me great advice allowing me to improve in my work.
I believe it is very organised as I have been told exactly what I need to do, I know what are the assignments I need to complete and when the deadlines are. I also have a very supportive line manager and a tutor, we have monthly meetings in which I can get further support and help.
I receive excellent support from my employer as I can access help from my line manager and my tutor whenever I need it, I can get help if I am struggling with my assignments or if I have any other concerns.
I receive excellent support as my tutor and my manager give me great advice allowing me to constantly improve and work on myself. I believe this is really important as it allows me to develop my skills in a very supportive environment.
I believe that my qualification is allowing me to perform better at my job as I am made aware of all the procedures and vital and duties that I have. Working on my assignments and coursework I got the chance to understand my roles and responsibilities in greater depth.
