Helping children learn by supporting them when completing work and ensuring they are safe throughout the day.
Yes I have developed lots of new skills I have learnt some Makaton to be able to interact with non verbal children, I have also developed my English skills by marking various pieces of work.
I really enjoy this because everyday is different I also enjoy this job as I think it is very rewarding by watching the children grow and learn new things.
I really like the structure of my program as I can clearly see what is expected of me by reading the task sheets set for me.
I receive lots of contact with my employer along with monthly reviews to make sure that I have everything I need to complete my work however I have not asked for support.
I receive lots of information on my apprenticeship, I also have lots of resources that I can look through if I am stuck,
I think it really helps me within my role as I had no information or any experience about what it takes to work in a school so by having their information I have developed all my skills.
I do not think that this is at my work however I don’t think I would be interested in that anyway. There are however staff nights out, like a Christmas party for example.
Yes
I find Inspire ATA a very friendly company to work with and they are always really helpful, they are also always checking in so they know how you are and if something is bothering you they can help.
Don’t be afraid to ask questions as they are very informative and helpful!
