Checking/Chasing/Logging and processing of solicitors records so that their case can be managed and assigned appropriately.
I have developed a more efficient way of working and have learnt to actively prioritise tasks within the work place. I have started working on some smaller project management and this has allowed to me to experience things that I may have not usually, such as chasing 3rd parties and ensuring project deadlines are reached.
Sometimes expectations of what you will do vs what happens at University can be skewed, E.g a assignment workshop turning into an additional lesson - personally I would prefer if these remained workshops as you get the correct assistance. If these were more clearly signposted it may be of benefit.
Generally very good, the IPP assignment feels like it has not been really covered less than 4 weeks to go for the assignment whereas others are started months before.
My employer is very aware of time that I may need and is more than happy to grant it. They have placed me on more calls and invited me to further meetings to allow me to experience the more "managerial" things occurring.
They offer well structured learning resources and plenty of locations to find academic references. The reviews meeting help to keep you on track and let you know of any shortcomings.
I feel like it has maybe helped with some perspectives inside the office. Currently the subjects are very broad and may be of less importance to core business than maybe future topics.
Not really.
