  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • I create and log reports for stock that we have on a hold status. I have daily interactions with the customer and attend two weekly meetings to discuss any issues we have. I work together with multiple teams across the site ti achieve the best work possible.

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • Yes, I have developed my understanding and knowledge of excel use. I have also leant how to use WHMs (WareHouse Management systems) which were new to me before I started. I have gained a better understanding of collecting and reporting data

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I enjoy it very much, there is always something new to learn and the day-to-day is always different.

  • My apprenticeship provider structures my program very well and always works with me to make sure what I am learning suits me.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • I get a lot of support from my employer and line manager. Thre is always open communication and I am treated fairly in all aspects

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • I receive all the support I need when I ask for it. My training provider hosts monthly meetings to check in and a meeting every 6 weeks for a progress review.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • I feel that my qualifications have helped a big amount in developing my performance in my role. There are many interesting topic to work on and explore.

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • I am currently in the process of getting involved in our "wellbeing champion" training to support the site and be a helping hand to people who suffer from mental health issues. There are occasional events, bake sale etc to partake in too.

  • The company has a lot of great opportunities and many positions to pursue within the business. There is a place for everyone at DHL Logistics
