I am an engineering technician following the fabrication pathway. My day to day changes and it’s always exciting to find out what new challenges I’ll be facing.
I have learnt so many new skills and I’ve learnt so much in such a short amount of time. It has been fun learning these new skills.
I really love my programme there are a few times when it’s not organised well, but the company does try to rectify it.
There is a hit and a miss with organisation, but everyone tries to make it work and listen when things aren’t going well.
I receive a lot of support from my employer and it makes me proud to be working for them as they consider my health and mental well-being.
I receive a lot of support from my training provider they try to push me and go for the challenging tasks as well as knowing when I’m in my comfort zone.
I believe that the learning I’m doing will help me perform the best I can in my job. It helps put everything in perspective and I’m able to make mistakes and learn from them.
There is tonnes to get involved with.
Yes
My mental well being and genuine passion has reignited for my job.
Don’t be afraid and don’t let stereotypes make you rethink things as everyone is equal.
