I have achieved my Level 2 AAT and Level 2 in accounting certificate. I am now doing my Level 3 and will go onto do level 4 next year. I am have gained level 1 and 2 excel qualifications. My excel and computing knowledge has excelled while doing the apprenticeship
I have really enjoyed my apprenticeship so far and receive a lot on support from my colleagues and accountancy learning.
I study form home so I have to be disciplined however I have a weekly meeting with my tutor from accountancy learning to ensure I am on track. lessons are easy to access online and it is clear what I need to achieve.
I get 6 hours a week of work time to study (normally Fridays). My manager is really supportive and will help with any tasks when needed. As excel become more complicated in my second year my manager has arrange a weekly excel training sessions to help boost knowledge.
I have weekly meetings with my tutor where we go over any work I do not understand but i can also email her during this time if anything else is needed.
I am able to understand more financial terms and able to carry out more tasks independently as the apprenticeship goes on.
we meet as a team once ever 2/3 months for a social gathering. there are various communications which offer sporting activities (netball etc) if you wanted to join.
