I help out around site supervising men and do some setting out when required giving levels and learning to use a GPS, I also give the majority of site inductions when I'm in the office.
I have improved my communication skills massively and have gained confidence talking in front of people especially when they are very experienced.
I enjoy the program and think the way Kier does things are good just wish the uni course was better and was located closer rather than a central uni
The programme is structured well just needs to be publicised more so everyone is on the same page rather than just hearsay and put into a flow chart so is a clear direction
For development within my job I got a lot of support but I don't often receive all my allocated time which makes it hard to keep up with my uni work
The support varies between lecturers, there are good systems in place with regular check ups from other people in the university
Currently most of the stuff I am learning is not relevant to my job
I have been to one
Yes
Because it is a good company to work for with lots of opportunities for the future and has very forward thinking ways
Just be enthusiastic and try your best
