I am given work instructions/engineering drawings and have to create and assemble components made from various types of materials, using different types of tools and machinery
I have learnt to stay positive and be resilient, stay patient and also how to operate and use different types of tools and machines
I enjoy the programme, workload is quite high and sometimes difficult to stay on top of, but overall I think the programme is good
It is not always well organised/structured in some areas, for the most part everything is laid out clear for us to follow, however there can be some days where not everything is well organised
I receive a lot of support from my employer, they always reply when there is a problem, however the waiting time can sometimes be quite long
I receive support on this end, they aim to help as much as they can and guide us through it, however the work load was set all at once and is difficult to keep up with
The training provider helps us to perform better due to the skills that they teach us within the workshop, helping us to progress further and take on new challenges
There aren’t any that I am aware of
Yes
It is a great place to work with lots of progressions that can be made
Stay committed to the job and always be ready to learn new skills
