I’m in the workshop making projects out of sheet metal most of the time.I also weld occasionally and am going to learning how to cut differently metals in the future.
I have learnt a lot of different hand skills and how to use different tools and equipment.
I enjoy this apprenticeship because I have learnt a lot of different skills that will be useful throughout my life and I have met a lot of new people.
Most of the time it is organised but onefile is abit unorganised because it keeps changing what we need to do and how we need to do it and we get quite confused on what we need to do and how to send it away correctly.
We have a lot of support and there is always someone who we can talk to.
We do have a lot of support from our tutor and he explains to us well what work we need to complete to work towards our qualifications.
I do believe it helps me perform better.
At the end of year we go skern lodge for a week.
