I am a UX Deisgn Apprentice, currently I am working on Design Kit for our company, it’s an on going process.
I have developed presentation skills and using figma as well. Learned how to prototype by working with my line manager and another designer.
I really enjoy my programme, I don’t get pressured to do anything gives me enough time to complete work and always making sure I’m okay and support me with anything.
It’s fairly organised. I know what I need to do, my works very structured as we create tickets for all our works and prioritise it to make it easier.
I get a lot of support from my employers they are very understanding and give you enough time to complete work and also assignments as well. They give me more than the required time to do my assignments too.
They give lots of support. My line manager helps me with my assignments as well and give me time to focus on my assignment too.
Some things I do at uni is related to the things I don’t at work which I find very beneficial.
We have these event every year where everyone in the company can register and it’s all about playing games and getting to meet everyone in the company. Also we have something for work as well called gardening day where we work in groups/teams and create an idea and present it to everyone in the company which is usually remote.
Yes
It’s a very friendly and pleasant atmosphere and they support you in every way they can and is always there if you need help.
Be honest about your feelings. Tell them what you’re interested in and would like to try as well and they will help you get what you want. Be enthusiastic about the role you’ve applied for and show ur skills as well.
