  • Providing support to investment banking analysts with their day-to-day roles

  • Many developed skills including presenting, organisation and leadership skills. New skills include practical skills, like excel and formatting.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • To a large extent! Thoroughly enjoy the programme and the work that I do on desk, I feel supported by my team and the apprenticeship team at UBS.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • Can change from time to time and some uncertainty in terms of post-apprenticeship pathways and what happens, but the team do try and implement feedback to further improve future cohort experiences.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • I receive good support from both my working team as well as the HR team. I am comfortable in reaching out to them with any queries and they respond in a timely manner and to the best of their ability.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • Some aspects are not as clear and can be hard to look through, more specifically juggling time needed for every module with what is on the calendar - might benefit from a more relative approach depending on each module length and difficulty. Team however, do try and help out as much as they can.

  • Passion counts! Apply to what you're passionate about and research what we do, it's a great learning opportunity and puts your foot in the door from the get-go.
