Day to day support to senior colleagues assisting on a variety of projects. Mainly acting a project manager, organising design team on behalf of the client. Working on all asset classes, but mainly focused on prime residential refurbishment.
Each day encounters different challenges which i have to adapt to and overcome via a variety of different methods. New skills have been learnt through colleagues, but also through my university studies. My personal responsibility at work continue to develop as more responsibility is given.
I thoroughly enjoy the programme i am on at Savills. The studying side provides challenges with time management, and keeping on top of the work load, but apart from this the overall experience is great. There are also lots of young employees to interact with and learn from.
Both my programme at work and also my university course is very well structured with lots of assistance available when required. With the number of apprentices employed at Savills, the programme is very professional and structured. Lots of catch-ups with HR included on a regular basis.
Almost too much, which isn't a bad thing at all. Savills provide lots of support, and if any issues are experienced, they are always happy to support, both with work load and university studies.
UCEM provide a very high level and standard of academic support. Throughout my studies I have had to ask for assistance, which has always been provide and never an issue. The online university portal also provides lots of relevant information.
The degree side of my apprenticeship provides a lot of knowledge, assisting me with understanding my day to day role and the questions I am faced with. Having learnt this knowledge allows me to confidently provide advice when requested.
There are ample opportunities for extra-curricular activities if desired at work. currently i chair the apprentice committee, sit of the social media committee and play for the mixed hockey team. Professional networking events are always available too.

There is nothing better than working for one of the leading global real estate firms, where the best in class professionals works. The level of work and clients we interact with is very interesting and opportunities others may not experience. A very supportive employer I highly recommend.
Ensure you know what you are applying for and it's what you genially want to do. Any work experience you can do is always beneficial, even if not exactly relatable to the role, good to talk about at interview. Make sure you answer the interview questions correctly.
