Solutions architect, doing project to add a change to the business infrastructure and finding the components which will be effected by this change internally in the business
I’ve learnt many new things within my job role from presenting skills to more technical understanding and also learning how the day to day life is within a large corporation
I’d say I really enjoy it however sometime it can be hard to maintain the work life balance with both university assignments and a whole 9-5 job role on top of that.
It’s well organised however sometimes can find inexperienced lecturers due to people leaving, illness etc and finding out key information about assignments can be really difficult to obtain.
I receive a good amount of support and they help to cater towards university work as well as work with the employer
The support is okay, sometimes it can be difficult to get 1 to 1 conversations with the training provider due to the sheer amount of people within the apprenticeship
Within the qualification some things align quite well within my day to day job role, however some don’t. However It’s a good way to grasp the fundamentals of technical and business skills
Yeah they have many different activities to get involved in, sometimes can find it difficult with our ‘anchor days’ (selected days to attend the office) for them to align with the days the activities are on but there’s a lot to choose from
Yes
It’s a good company with a good structure, there’s some things that could be improved within the apprenticeship but overall the business is a really good place to work.
Just to make sure you take everything as it comes and be ready to learn a lot of new things. You’ll be surprised how much you have learned without actually feeling like you’ve learnt it.
