In my role I sit within the development team along the south coast, primarily focusing on valuations. My day to day job includes writing up valuation reports for clients for different purposes including loan security, tax and probate.
Yes, since starting in my role, I have developed my SPAG skills. this is because I am consistently writing reports and making sure when someone is checking my work that any comments are discussed with me.
I enjoy my programme a lot. At work, I am a trusted and valued member of the team and have been given a lot of opportunities to excel and learn new skills. Additionally, my university is very interactive and provide meetings with me and my line manager consistently to ensure I am up to date with everything.
The programme is well structured. A lot of the information was provided at the very start of my programme which was useful and whenever we meet with my Apprentice Outcomes Officer he always updates me with any dates i need to be aware of.
There is a lot of support. We have consistent calls in which they just check in with us and ensure that we are up to date and not being put under too much pressure.
There is always a lot of support offered if needed through Student services, tutors and the Apprenticeship Outcomes Officer.
I think that it does because a lot of the work is related to my day to day jobs.
Yes, we go to lots of networking events with young professionals, property associations and banks.
