  • Marketing Support: I assist in the development and execution of marketing campaigns. This includes creating marketing materials, managing social media accounts, and analyzing campaign performance to ensure they meet the desired objectives. Customer Relationship Management: I work closely with key accounts to maintain and strengthen relationships. This involves regular communication with clients, addressing their needs, and ensuring they are satisfied with the services provided. Data Analysis: I analyze market trends, customer data, and campaign results to provide insights that can help improve marketing strategies and customer engagement. Collaboration: I collaborate with various teams, including marketing, sales, and customer service, to ensure a cohesive approach to managing key accounts and executing marketing strategies. Administrative Tasks: I handle various administrative duties such as scheduling meetings, preparing reports, and maintaining records. Learning and Development: As an apprentice, I am also focused on learning and developing your skills. This includes attending training sessions,

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • Presentation Skills: I've been actively involved in creating and presenting various materials. This has helped me improve my ability to communicate complex information clearly and effectively. Project Management: i had involvement in organizing and managing events, like the SkillSwap sessions which has enhanced my project management skills. I've been responsible for coordinating with different teams, setting agendas, and ensuring that everything runs smoothly. Technical Skills: I've gained experience with technical tools and processes, as evidenced by my work on system backups and file management. This includes using PowerShell and managing file transfers, which are valuable technical skills. Collaboration and Teamwork: You've worked closely with your colleagues on various projects and initiatives. This has strengthened my ability to collaborate effectively and contribute to team success. Organizational Skills: My role has required me to stay organized and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. For example, I've been involved in planning and executing meetings, such as the F2F meeting in London, and ensuring that all necessary materials are prepared and shared. Communication Skills: I've demonstrated strong communication skills through my interactions with colleagues and clients. This includes providing clear instructions, sharing important updates, and addressing any issues that arise.

  • I have very much enjoyed every aspect of my apprenticeship and have become a much more confident and well rounded individual as a result.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • As apprentices we have the opportunity to experience working in Pfizer’s Commercial business while gaining national qualifications. Pfizer is committed to providing apprentices with time/resources to fulfill teaching, learning, and assessment needs. This includes mentoring support and ensuring we have 20% off-the-job time to study. Resources:

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • I receive continuous support from my line manager and wider team when needed. If I have any questions I am confident my employers would support me and be able to help.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • My team were very supportive throughout my apprenticeship and happy to support when I needed them. I could rely on them to provide information and support I needed.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • I think in pharmaceutical marketing it is very restrictive and difficult to apply typical marketing and theories but there are some that overlap. Some aspects of the learning I could apply in my job.

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • Yes there are multiple. They range from sporting activities, personal development and mentally such as language classes. There are lots of opportunity to network with people throughout the company but also within the industry.

  • Yes

  • Pfizer provides a supportive and collaborative work environment. Pfizer offers numerous opportunities for professional growth and development. The apprenticeship programme, for example, is well-structured and provides apprentices with the resources and support they need to succeed.


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Pfizer?
  • Show your personality and what makes you unique as an individual. Anyone could have the qualifications but they want to see you would be a good culture fit for the team which involves showcasing your work ethic and personality that aligns to Pfizer values.
