I help out my team on the audit engagement doing tasks such as picking samples, documenting invoices, updating materialities and mapping TBs
I have massively improved my IT skills, especially on excel. I have also become more confident, professional and inquisitive.
I love the people that I work with and the office environment. I feel engaged and excited to go into work.
There is a good balance of placement work and uni time so you can prepare for your exams whilst experience time on the job
There are always people around to help answer questions and support me when I'm stuck. There is also a great support network online for me to ask people for help
When i am preparing for my qualifications I receive support from my university and lecturers and have o contact with the people I work on placement with.
I know more about the background of audit, which I learnt at uni, so I can then apply it when I'm on placement. This means that I then have a general understanding of what I'm doing.
There is no opportunity for me to join into the social network because I am on placement for only a few months at a time
