  • I help out my team on the audit engagement doing tasks such as picking samples, documenting invoices, updating materialities and mapping TBs

  • I have massively improved my IT skills, especially on excel. I have also become more confident, professional and inquisitive.

  • I love the people that I work with and the office environment. I feel engaged and excited to go into work.

  • There is a good balance of placement work and uni time so you can prepare for your exams whilst experience time on the job

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • There are always people around to help answer questions and support me when I'm stuck. There is also a great support network online for me to ask people for help

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • When i am preparing for my qualifications I receive support from my university and lecturers and have o contact with the people I work on placement with.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • I know more about the background of audit, which I learnt at uni, so I can then apply it when I'm on placement. This means that I then have a general understanding of what I'm doing.

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • There is no opportunity for me to join into the social network because I am on placement for only a few months at a time

  • Be confident and self aware and ensure you have a good knowledge of the company, what PwC does and its values.
