My role involves many areas of marketing. This includes content creation, social media management, SEO, email marketing, and branding.
I have a learned a lot of new skills and developed some too. I have learned how to produce and act upon SEO reports, I have learned how to gain actionable insights from key metrics, and I've learned how to run marketing campaigns in general.
My programme is very enjoyable. QA's training sessions are fantastic, very engaging and informative with teaching methods to suit all types of learners. This programme has helped me realise that this is the career I want to pursue for the rest of my forseeable working life.
The programme is brilliantly structured! I love the apprenticeship portal (Bud), it's very intuitive and makes staying on track with apprenticeship tasks simple. Also, the frequent check ins are great, allowing frequent opportunities to bring up any concerns.
I receive a good amount of support from my employer. Getting some of the evidence for my apprenticeship has been tricky due to the fact that they haven't got a digital marketing team. However, my line manager worked with QA to find various ways I could meet the criteria in my working environment.
QA provided fantastic support, helping me work through any problems I had without penalising me for struggling. I never felt afraid to go to them and let them know I was having difficulties - I felt I could be 100% honest with them.
My qualification gives me confidence in my abilities. If I have suggestions to make or changes I'd like to implement in our marketing strategies, I feel like I can put them into place using the knowledge I have gained throughout the course.
We have occasional social events at work, and have touched on the possibility to get involved in expos and networking events in the future.

QA reignited my love for learning. I enjoyed every bit about it including the classroom sessions and even completing the coursework! My training provider was very supportive, even at times I was falling behind when struggling to gather evidence, and helped me get back on track.
I'd suggest taking a free online digital marketing course such as the "Fundamentals of digital marketing" course by Google before applying for a position. It will give you a head start and ensure you know what you're getting yourself in for, before any interviews or job placements.
