The tasks I complete on a day-to-day basis involve communicating with clients and insurers to pass along and obtain information that will assist in the decision on a claim. This requires daily communication with members of team. It is my responsibility to make sure the client and insurers receive the information they need.
Through my job role my technological skills have improved considerably. This includes the use of platforms such as excel, word, powerpoint and systems relevant to my job role. Through this apprenticeship my social skills have also improved helping me to communicate with confidence to members within and outside of my team.
My programme involves a wide variety of objectives and goals. These range from the different tasks within my job role and the learning element from the apprenticeship side. Through this variation I enjoy my programme as there is a fountain of knowledge to learn from and each day is different.
The apprenticeship programme is well structured. It clearly outlines they days in which you will receive learning and the by what days an exam has to be sat and when a piece of work is due in. The training from the job role side is also very well structured and built around helping you learn everything you need to know.
The support within the apprenticeship is top tier. If you need help or assistance with a task or process you are unsure there is guaranteed help to guide you until it is fully understood.
The help received from the training providers is very good. This includes one to one sessions to help discuss goals and objectives that need to be completed and sessions which help with learning are also provided.
Through learning with the training provider it has helped to give me a wider view on the area of business as a whole and has allowed me to learn things inside and outside of my job role which have helped to better my understanding.
There are many activities which i can get involved with at work. This includes meeting other young people through a network and different activities arranged inside my team.
