Quantity Surveyor. Cost management of Civil Engineering schemes from beginning of the project to the end. Dealing with client, subcontractors and the project team to deliver the scheme effectively and make money.
Team working skills are very important. People skills. Organisation. Time keeping
Enjoyed a lot. There was always great support around me to help with me with any issues I was experiencing.
Very organised. I didn't have to worry about where I needed to be.
Alot of support from people around me. Line manager was very supportive aswell.
University lecturers were very supportive. They were always happy to receive questions and spend time with you after lectures if you were struggling.
I was able to use knowledge gained at University in my day to day working life.
We have a Sports and Social committee that organise frequent events throughout the year. This is one of the best parts about working in Shifnal and makes work alot more enjoyable.
