My job role requires certain techniques to transport a road design, into reality. it involves problem solving, communication and planning.
i have learned and developed a great deal of skills, mainly communication skills and organisational skills. i have of coarse learned practical skills on site, as i am a setting out civil engineer so i have learned skills based on setting out methods.
I love interracting with my co-workers and enjoy the problem solving aspect, aswell as the clear plan and focus of my goals, i also get a lot of support from my colleagues which makes my life a lot easier.
My programme is organised well, i have a great support system and have been given a clear structure for my development.
i recieve a lot of support from my employer, my line manager is very helpful and if i ever have a question he always has an answer. This makes work very enjoyable and stress free as i feel supported.
I recieve support from my training provider, and they always remind me to ask questions if i am ever confused.
Currently i havent noticed much benefit so far to my job role, but i understand the skills i am learning now will be of effect in the future.
yes there are, i have participated in many extracurricular activities, ivolving a charity run, and social events.
