My job as and electrical and mechanical technician, is to fix or repair faulty assets across the patch to ensure the assets carry out their intended purpose. To further aid the treatment of sewage and protect our surrounding environment.
I have developed many new skills in both electrical and mechanical sides of the job, and further improved my knowledge on the water treatment process.
I enjoy my program with anglian water as i am constantly learning and improving as an technician.
The overall program isn't badly organised or structured, however, there is often a lack of communication between aw, assessors and the training provider.
I receive a varied amount of support.
Support could be much better
If I'm completely honest, it doesn't help a great deal, most of the learning is done at work
Not that I have been made aware of.
Yes
It's a great company to work for who serve a great purpose in the local community's.
