Teaching Assistant Review

Teaching Assistant, involves assisting teachers setting up for the day and running sessions, completing my training and assignments and reflecting this in my work.

Lots of new skills! I have learnt how to carry a lesson in terms of what this looks like and how to tailor it to the students, my language with the students, why it is carried out that way based on past psychologists and research.

I love my programme. The support offered! Knowing I can always ask for help or advice and they will offer the support and information I need completely benefits my confidence in what I am doing.

I think it is well suited structure as there are frequent check ins and regular assignments but with the flexibility of deadlines and meetings to align with my settings timetable and unpredictability.

I receive lots of support knowing i can always reach out and they always check in on how everything is going regularly.

Lots of support, we organise together where i am at and what works best for me at the time in terms of fitting in meetings, checking in and assignment deadlines.

Without my training I don't think i would have as much knowledge and understanding as i do in my job and knowing i can always find out more from them or go to them for more information.
