Electrical maintenance for reactive and non reactive jobs at Sewage Treatment works
Yes, learning about single phase and 3 phase electircla systems, learning about electrical principles, how to use tools and specialist tools/electrical measuring equipment
I enjoy my programme very much apart from the college aspect on occasions. I enjoy the in person college training as I meet with the other apprentices and we share our times on sites. Sometimes the teaching of the college can be boring. The work on site is the most enjoyable and webget to see the real world experience and be hands on with our job.
In my area, the on site work is very well organised. Both management and mentors are very well organised and allow me to reach Mt full potential by always making sure that my needs are put first. The college part is not we organised or structured. The learning can be boring on occasion and be repetitive.
A lot from my managers ans mentors. Haven't had to ask much from the college, but would be better if they changed their teaching styles
We do receive help and support, but material could be revised. The exams are short but syllabus is long and over powering. Teachers should change the learning way
A little, sometimes the stuff we learn from the provider does not directly relate to the things we do in our work but maybe in other companies.
Yes lots of charity work
Yes
I would recommend because the company is good, good benefits and the team members ate all welcoming and ensure that your time with them is good. The learning on site is amazing and informative. The equipment provided is amazing. However the training provider could do with some revising and the way they tech and what they teach
Be prepared for some learning and course work. The site jobs ate fun and totally what you dknt expect, very informative and knowledgeable, and more kmprotnsntly very enjoyable. However you do have to do some exams but if you do self revision you should be ok
