Along with my line manager, I provide support to both undergraduate medical students and post graduate research students. This involves planning a detailed lecture course and clinical placement for the undergraduates and supporting postgraduates with all their paperwork for all milestones and carrying out the admissions and induction process.
I have developed many skills during my apprenticeship including improving my email etiquette, in person communication and planning and organising skills. I have also developed my knowledge in many different IT packages including word, excel, teams and outlook.
I thoroughly enjoyed my apprenticeship programme! The support was fabulous!
The organisation and structure of my apprenticeship was exceptional! I went into college one day a week for 10 days then the rest of my apprenticeship was independant study with support from my assessor. I found this structure perfect for my style of learning!
I received lots of support from my employer! They offer so many different types of support including a buddy scheme where a current/past apprentice is assigned to you and is a friendly face who offers lots of help and advice.
My training provider, in particular my assesor, provided so much support throughout my apprenticeship! They provided support with all my learning and coursework and provided so many resources.
I think my qualification has given a great overall understanding of business which can be used acrossed many different roles. Completing my coursework has allowed to learn things about my business/department that I wouldnt otherwise know.
My deparyment and the central university apprenticeship team offers many social and networking events. I have been to many of these and have thoroughly enjoyed them all!

There are so many amazing aspects to working at The University of Oxford! The University provides amazing support to their staff, they offer so many opportunities and immensely encourage professional and personal growth. The generous holiday entitlement is also great!
Apply as soon as possible! It was one of the best decisions I have made. Even it if it isnt exaclty the job you were looking for it will be a great starting position and you may love it more than you realise.
