My role is a teaching assistant. I help the children in my care get the most out of their school experience by teaching and safeguarding them
I have learnt a lot about understanding policy and how each way of learning links together. I have developed in becoming more confident since starting the apprenticeship
My placement is great and inspire/Lmp tutors are all very helpful
It has been structured well with monthly meetings to ensure I know what I am doing.
Thankfully I haven’t needed them too much over my apprenticeship but I know I can get constant support if required.
Lots. Constant up to date meetings really help stay on track
Some of the course work has given context to why I do what I do. It has furthered my knowledge for my job
I get involved with staff socialising at my placement.
Yes
Because the support is great and the training allows you to be successful at your job role
Don’t be put off by the fact that the learning is done online. There is enough support and the training provides a vast amount of information.
