On a day to day basis, I will be responsible for certain FSLIs in the audit. This will involve testing different assertions eg.completeness of revenue by selecting samples and sending them to the client. Normally I take work of my seniors with easier tasks.
I have developed my communication skills as I have to work within a team, and feed back the status of my work.
I enjoy my programme a lot because there is a good balance between work experience and university experience. We do not have to focus on uni work while on placement, which means you can fully focus on one thing at a time.
It is very well structured as you focus on placement while on placement and uni work only while at uni.
We get given a career coach who helps if you have any questions while on placement, which makes it easy to initially transition into work. We also get a buddy who plays a similar role.
We complete 12/15 of the exams while at university, and after we graduate the employer helps us with the final 3 to become qualified
A lot because we get real life experience which helps apply what we have learnt at uni.
There is the odd social event, however Watford is a new office so I haven't seen too much about any sports teams.
Yes
They are very flexible in terms of working hours, they place trust in you to get the work done but in your own time.
